The Fabulous Jackie

This week we continued our "We've Got Our i's On Careers". We interviewed someone special from Clemson, South Carolina and her name is Jackie. She works at Clemson University. Her job at the school is Associate Director Of Student Media. The school she works at has there own newspaper and radio station. She has to check to make sure that her work is right before she puts it out there. She likes working with college kids, because they are fun and interesting. Part of her job is to critique students work in the newspaper. Jackie went to South Carliona University. She went there because it was close to her family, and it was not to far away. The most important thing that she learned is always ask for help or you won't succeed. She told us that reviewing your work is very important. Sometimes your first idea is not your best idea. Her advice was work hard from the start, and don't let yourself get in the way of your dreams.  She said if she would change a career she would open a bakery. I learned a lot about her and I hope you did too.
